Petition Portal & Public Financing Qualifying

To qualify, the campaign must collect nominating petition signatures from registered Democratic voters in Bernalillo County. You can add your signature online in just a few minutes.

3. Add your electronic signature.
    
4. Encourage your family, friends, and neighbors to sign as well—every signature helps!

The Committee to Keep Judge Matthew Chavez is pursuing public financing under the New Mexico Voter Action Act to ensure fair and ethical elections by taking big money out of judicial campaigns. 

To qualify, we must gather 400 contributions of $5 from voters (of any party) who live in Bernalillo County. 

How to contribute your $5 online:

1. Click the button below to visit the Secretary of State’s public financing portal.
    
2. Enter your voter information.
    
3.  Scroll the list to choose Matthew Chavez from the candidate list and choose “Public Financing”.
    
4. Complete your $5 contribution (goes directly to the NM Public Election Fund).
